I’m a K–6 Technology Applications teacher and the founder of HiTek Tech. My work brings education and technology together: explain the idea, connect it to a real task, and help the learner try it.
I hold an MBA and a BS in Computer Science from Texas A&M University–Commerce. That combination keeps the conversation focused on both how a system works and whether it helps the person using it.

I believe useful technology starts with respect for the people using it. HiTek Tech is faith-based and community-rooted, with a focus on practical skills and access, particularly for Black and brown communities.
AI can help produce a draft. Your knowledge tells you whether that draft makes sense for your work, your people, and your responsibilities.
That is why my teaching keeps four steps together: describe, create, review, and refine. Creating is not the finish line. A result you can use responsibly is.
