Southern Dallas AI Defense Is Live: Three Tracks for Workers, Owners, and Leaders

All right, let's get into it. Today we're announcing Southern Dallas AI Defense, a 90-day community program from HiTek Tech. Not another think tank. Not a fellowship you have to hunt down at midnight. A real on-ramp for Black workers, Black-owned businesses, and community leaders in DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, and Duncanville.

Want the one-page overview? Start here: Southern Dallas AI Defense. Want the full execution plan? See the 90-day roadmap.

Why we launched this now

Research on Southern Dallas County is clear. Black workers are overrepresented in roles AI can automate: customer service, office admin, food service, logistics, and production. National data puts roughly 24% of Black workers in high-exposure occupations versus about 20% of white workers.

In DFW, our inland port and service economy make that timeline feel closer, not farther away. This is not fear-mongering. It is math. The people who learn to work with AI tools (or build income on the side) get in front of the wave. Everyone else gets surprised.

One program. Three tracks.

HiTek is not Dallas College. HiTek is not Black in AI. We are the bridge. Pick the track that matches where you are right now.
